I have been working at Manheim

Pros

Good health benefits
Some really great people to work with
Hours are good
Casual atmosphere
Clean environment

Cons

Pay could be better and based on job skills, knowledge and service time. Still seems that This decision is influenced by your sex and how much you kiss up (for lack of a better word). People are afraid to voice there true opinions if they are in the least bit different than what is being told to us. Agree act excited and happy and hopefully you will keep your job.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people with respect no matter what there job is. Just because you may be in a higher position within the company does not make you a better person. Always keep your door and mind open for any employee that wants to speak with you and, speak to them, not down to them.

I have been working at Manheim

    Pros

    Balance sheet still strong.
    Respected organization.
    Great health benefits.

    Cons

Top- and mid-level defectors are numerous.
Upper-management paid very well, then there's everyone else.
    Culture = every man/woman for him/herself.
No merit raises in nearly three years.
HQ in Atlanta is a bunker and doesn't want to know what transpires in the field although they say that they do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees in the field and act upon actions/people that do not conform to corporate ethics and morals. Stop worrying about your high-paying job and make decisions. Stop letting GMs, BMs, and "owners" run the company . . . have a backbone and tell them when they're wrong.

    Cons
