Easygoing atmosphere.
Industry experience is as valued as a blue-chip MBA
Opportunity to think outside the box are plentiful
Offices, laptops and blackberries are given to all. Great perk in that you can work from anywhere.

Cons

Management has turned deaf ear to suggestions
Company culture is changing and not for the better
Trying to change to internet only auctions is being forced down throat of locations.
Opportunities for advancement are limited. Whenever open position becomes available that position has already been promised to "friend" of hiring manager. Company is indicative of "Who You Know" atmosphere.
Pay is below average. Although great benefits do help make up for it but not enough in today's inflationary environment.

Advice to Senior Management

The best thing to do is to focus on what we have been good at for the last 50+ years. That is selling cars at a physical location and making the experience for the dealers top notch.
