Approves of CEO

I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

They work hard to find you a position and they are very friendly. They are also good about checking on you the first week in your new position and it really means a lot to someone like me.

Cons

The pay is okay but it could be better They won't tell you about another position unless you quit the one you currently have and it puts you in a hard place and decreases your motivation.

Advice to Management

If there is a better opportunity and someone has expressed that they are unhappy, give them a chance to find something better.

I worked at Manpower as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

the paycheck is ontime, staff in office is friendly when you can get in touch with them.

    Cons

lack of communication on the part of placement agency office. They fail to communicate up front to employee when placing them on a contracted assignment at times. If the assignment is only for a specific time employee is unaware they will never ever be able to work at the customer's location again, due to specs buried in the contract, even if they excelled and received rewards. They hide themselves in the back and a very small front entrance .

    Advice to Management

Be up front and let the empoloyee see the contract so they go in with their eyes wide open or be open to them so they know what they are getting into. Times are hard and people are willing to take just about anything to be able to pay their bills and put food on their table.
