I worked at Manpower full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

At Manpower, you had to assume many different responsibilities. Because of this, I was able to learn about P/L, recruiting, as well as sales, human resources, and reporting. I valued my experience and would recommend it to any graduate looking for a versatile role.

    Cons

Limited growth opportunity depending on manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wonderful company with a great team overall. I would advise that line managers keep the wishes of their employees in mind when considering growth opportunities.

I worked at Manpower full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

For income it beats no job at all.
For any other reason, not so much!

    Cons

No matter how many years you stay there your wages will never be better than entry level let alone keep up with inflation.
The work is dull, tedious, unchallenging and thankless.
Nothinng is more depressing than arriving at work before dawn.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Geodis should dump Manpower and directly hire all subcontractors at wages that split the difference between what Manpower charges and what associates are paid.

Manpower should pay any associate who has been with the same assignment for more than two years 90% of what the customer is charged.
