I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

None really. The office looks good, smells good, nice and cool while filling out mounds of paperwork which obviously is tossed to the side as soon as you leave the "interview".

    Cons

They do very little to nothing to help you find work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sharpen those communication skills both among your office staff and with your employees. Disorganization, poor communication skills, inefficient office procedures. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing at any given time. This makes for a nightmare for those who seek employment in Laredo Texas. I hope not all offices are like this, broke some federal equal opportunity laws as well.

I worked at Manpower full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

From the time that I signed up with the company they were very quick to find a position for me.

    Cons

The communication with the company and their contracted employees needs A LOT of work. There are NEVER any raises and good work is never commended

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For the years that I worked for Manpower I was never commended on the hard work that I did. I was never offered a raise and I was never even contacted until my contract was terminated. Other than the initial discussion when I signed up, there was no communication initiated on their part. I think that their contracted employees would work even harder and be more dedicated if there was some positive communication offered.
