    Pros

Top notch benefits, good team atmosphere, most people are proud to be a part of the company and its success.

    Cons

I worked in the customer service centre in Waterloo for 3 years. The CSR role is extremely boring, frustrating, and depressing. I worked very hard to improve my credentials at my own cost and was offered a position in another department where my skills would be more suited. However, because I had signed a contract saying I would not leave the Call Centre for 6 months (you get a small $1000 raise if you sign) they would not let me take the other job. To me, that was very disappointing and short sighted but I can understand the their perspective. If they didn't lock people in and let them apply for jobs all over the company, their turnover would be higher than it already is.

    Advice to Management

When employees are obviously over qualified for their job, work with them to find a better fit within the company.
