Current Employee – been working at Maple Leaf Foods

Pros – Overall, Maple Leaf has a friendly environment and you are treated fairly. MLF company culture is great - everyone(mostly) lives the values and they are not just a poster on the wall. The focus for performance is balanced between both development and results and they have a very good annual review process.

Cons – Unfortunately, their compensation is on the lower side of market value and annual raises are not that great. Advancement opportunities are there but limited.

Advice to Senior Management – Over the years, the environment is becoming more political - try and preserve your culture as it is a key competitive advantage in attracting top talent.
