I have been working at Marc Jacobs International full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great experience
get to go the show
get to see a whole range developed
you get paid
you get to see the different departments.

Cons

I have no cons about this company, they were great from the start to the finish.
You have to work late hours but that was no problem for me, but maybe for someone else.

    Very good, slightly unorganized

I worked at Marc Jacobs International as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

You do actual work, lots of adobe illustrator, no pouring coffee or anything like that. Some xeroxing like any other internship, some going out and running errands. Mostly it's just drawing on Illustrator and doing mockups of jewelry. You get a free handbag at the end of every season, and there's leftover leather too that you can take if you want.

    Cons

Sometimes the computer files are jumbled and unorganized, which makes getting work done efficiently difficult. I wish interns would get paid something because we do pretty much the same work that freelancers do.

I worked at Marc Jacobs International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

international exposure, high profile, association with a very hot brand, ceaseless press coverage, some smart and many very talented people

    Cons

terrible internal dysfunctions, lack of communications and disjointed atmosphere, mutual suspicion among different factions and weakness at top management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The Group should take a closer look, with true industry professionals, to the structure and look to improvement.
