    Pros

    - 10% discount on Round's products.
    - 3rd shift manager is very accommodating to what days employees can work. The current 3rd shift manager is not only hard-working, but overall is very flexible.
    - No dress code for 3rd shift, headphones allowed.
    - Current store director is good at what he does and has "people skills". He however isn't around enough or at the right times to see the real problems in the store.
    - Full-time benefits aren't bad, and part-time employees can attain benefits after 18 months.
    - While there is a dress-code on the first 2 shifts that requires a tie, white dress shift, black pants and shoes, they aren't too over the top about it.

    Cons

    - Upper store management makes it almost impossible to rise "up the ladder" at current store location. (Vernon Hills). There is never any opportunity to go up in level (more hourly pay) at the current store, and it's almost unheard of to be able to transfer to another shift or department in the store.
    - Hard work isn't noticed, nor is it rewarded. There's no point to working hard.
    - Teamwork doesn't exist. Problems created by one shift for another aren't addressed, but are rather ignored. It is every shift for themselves and every department for themselves. No one will help anyone else.
    - LOW pay for the amount of work that the 3rd shift does.
    - Almost impossible for most employees to get fulltime.
    - Union store with a useless union that doesn't care about the workers.
    - Ive been at the current store for a year busting my ass while other workers just do the minimum in terms of effort and it doesn't seem to matter.

    Cons

Can't seem to hire enough people to open a store. Management does not care. Very stress full enviorment.

    Advice to Management

Hire Hire Hire. Remember at the end of the day Marianos is only a grocery store
