I worked at Maritz full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great Training. Great place to perhaps work out of college or during college.

Cons

You will always be working with new people because the company has high turnover. You will not make much salary and will work 24 hours per day nearly. The company would rather pay via "rewards credits" than dollars. Upper management may do well, but knee jerk reactions and poor business decisions will set you in varying directions during your career at Maritz. I would say more, but their HR personnel take down people's reviews herein (I know this for fact). Among the worst St. Louis companies for whom to work regarding pay. based on others with whom I've spoken. Company does not practice what it preaches. Panicked mid-level management caused high stress amongst all employees.

Advice to Management

Please stick with a business decision or plan and see it to completion.

    I worked at Maritz full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There were very few pros to this job. The fact that it was a paying job and close to home are about it.

    Cons

    *No sick days *Strict dress code for working in a call center with no windows to the outside world *Rarely clean *Low pay *Fired 50% of their call center before lay offs so they wouldn't have to pay benefits

    Advice to Management

    Instead of firing people for wearing tennis shoes on the weekend (not me but a coworker), how about you invest in opportunities for both floor associated and management to actually grow.
