    I worked at MarketSource full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    MarketSource is a great place to gain corporate experience. They hire people right out of college with little or no experience. Pay is great, good benefits, great training. Also, it is a good environment to build relationships with Upper Level Management of Fortune 500 companies. Please understand the environment described below for recruiting doesn't reflect other departments - A lot of other departments (working for a program vs working for corporate office can be much more pleasant)

    Cons

    Churn and burn mill, it is a grind. Expect to work 50-60 hours/week and with a Management team that is always asking for more effort and more time. In addition, you will be micromanaged and treated like a commodity. This is a call center environment and the job responsibilities are very repetitive. You will make 50-70 calls a day and have the same 5 min scripted conversation each time

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you can't keep your best and highest performers, you are in for real trouble. These are your most passionate people who would drop everything to make sure that job is done. They are your driving force. Just treat your employees like people (with families/lives/spouses. Other recruiting firms will treat your best people very well, so be more proactive in keeping them around if you don't want them to leave.

    Contracts end without notice and they fire you over the phone.

    Cons

    LOOK ABOVE, no stability, must make up work if you take vacation.
