I have been working at MarketStar full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Flexible, can work from home or go to a kids game without having to worry they will be upset. Can be a more casual work environment.

Cons

High stress, very demanding. You are constantly having to bring work home and work crazy hours. They want the numbers and aren't necessarily concerned with quality of the numbers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the workers. There is high turnover but management doesn't seem to care. It's expensive to always hire new people and train them when they could just keep their current employees happy. Management doesn't seemed concerned with this.

    Pros

Good work/life balance. Good experience to help you move into a better company that pays what people are worth. Good perk and fun offsite activities. Good discounts to local retailers and restaurants.

    Cons

They spend a lot of time training managers but their is no results from that training. Management usually has their own agenda and is not transparent. They do not coach employees very well even though they claim so. Need to be a kiss-ass if you want to go anywhere with the company. (Yes-man)
Pay is not good. Bonuses are laughable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be greedy. You bill your clients $100K per head (sales rep) and only pay $30K-$40K for a $75k/year job. People are happier with better pay rather than perks and discounts.
