    Pros

    Room to grow within the company.
    Employee driven company.
    The ability to have a great Work/Life Balance.
    Support of management team when working on any issue.
    Great moral within my group that is created by flexibility and given the tools to do our jobs.

    Cons

    Not a lot of choices in Health Care providers.
    Outsourcing of jobs has created a very "generic" feel in dealing with Human Resources.
    Providing Comp time instead of overtime for hours worked over 40.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to look out for your strongest employees and help them to grow within the company. Bring on consultants after 6 months to permanent employee status, they have earned it. Continue to engage your employees for ways to keep improving the moral.

    Pros

    Everyone strives to deliver the best guest experience
    Ability to grow your career through personal development and promotions if you want to move
    Service to communities in which we do business
    Great business ethic and philosphy: take good care of your associates, because they take care of the guests, and the guests come back. Leaders run their hotels by this credo.
    Hard working senior leaders that walk the walk.

    You may need to move to take advantage of promotional opportunities - this can be a pro or a con!
    During these economic times, there have been reduced hours for hourly staff and lay offs for management.
