I worked at Marriott part-time (More than a year)

Pros

When you begin your employment at Marriott, they emphasize greatly on how the business got to where they are through few short classes. It was very informative to hear about the roots of the company which all of the branches still are influenced greatly. The management took this very seriously and just after a few short days, i noticed how each employee was proud and eager to work for Marriott.

Cons

None that have come up jn my employment

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work

Overall, an excellent place to work - solid brand to learn and grow from. Senior Leadership can be a bit disconnected.

I worked at Marriott full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Marriott HQs has solid benefits, work/life balance, career growth opportunities, and flexibility for families. It's a great brand and a sexy industry. From a business perspective, Marriott is one of the best.

    Cons

At HQs, senior leadership is a bit disconnected to the working level. Also, promotions are always based on merit. You move around based on job availability. There are very few women with families who are at the senior level.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example and engage more with staff.
