I worked at Marriott full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Getting to work with great people everyday made it easy to come to work. Great benefits, Well compensated and upper management is always look to advance the motivated!

Cons

Obviously, in the hospitality industry, long hours, weekends. Literally other than that the only part that is bad is the property management system. it is terribly old and very frustrating.

Advice to Management

Keep it up! change the PMS

    it easily makes u comfortable,,by which you can not leave the company for the advancement in your career.

    Pros

    Great Benefits! Outside the golf industry, there are a variety of brands, locations, and job types to choose from (Hotel side).

    Cons

    Pay is probably level with the competition, but raises are not anything to brag about. Also, promotions don't seem to be tied to performance. Moving up requires moving out, and that's on you.

    Advice to Management

    Provide more guidance to potential management candidates. Tighten the disciplinary measures...7 times an employee can be more than 7 minutes late, and they still have a job?
