I worked at Marriott

Pros

Great people, liked the work

Cons

Awful pay. For someone with a college degree, it wasn't feasible to stay long term and work my way up. I worked there for a year, was always praised as an outstanding employee and ended up with a 35 cent pay raise.

I have been working at Marriott

    Pros

You get discounts on rooms!! Best discount is $50% off during the slow season and I mean almost any Marriott in the world. Amazing benefits!

    Cons

ALOT of QA drop ins. Money could be a lot better!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider allowing lower working force to advance in their field without working more than 15 years.

I have been working at Marriott full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Great money during busy season.

    Cons

leadership. They hire managers right out of college with ZERO restaurant experience. Expect you to work 50+ hours as a server/bartender. No Room for growth

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire managers with experience. How can you expect someone to manage in a field that they have no experience in? Does not make any sense.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
