The Good then The Ugly

Vacation Planning Counselor (Current Employee)
Orlando, FL

I have been working at Marriott Vacation Club

ProsThis place is full of fun and excitement, especially if you're on a good team with a great ASM. You can make good decent money as well once you're better at selling the promotional packages. The hours are perfect for those looking for a 2nd income job to complement their full time job. Not to mention, a great job for those who only want to work part-time but receive full-time pay.

ConsA few downside to the call center is that it isn't on an automated dialer giving one more calls with visible guest information. Secondly, the promotional package is a little pricey with very few perks. Third, YOU WILL FAIL if you don't have a good ASM backing you up and giving you help when needed. Last but certainly not least, no spiffs as a motivation.

Advice to Senior ManagementBring back spiffs and definitely revamp the packages to make it affordable and sweetened the pot with extra perks.
