    Pros

Generally, the lawyers are a bunch of good guys that are decent to work with and a lot of fun at happy hour.

    Cons

Lawyers work a ton of hours, aren't paid all that well, and have to endure a fairly unhelpful staff. The computer system is also a burden.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Fire non-productive staff members.

    Pros

Large firm and decent benefits. Good summer work hours allows flexibility to enjoy time with family. Starting salaries are average.

    Cons

Political battlefield. Hard work is overlooked. You move upward according to who you know or who you are "friends" with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Acknowledge employees for hard work or regular overtime. Increase percentage rate range which is used during the annual reviews there.
