No english whatsoever(spanish), horrible training

Sales Associate/Cashier (Current Employee) Laredo, TX

ProsPros? You get paid. minimum wage. If its you first job you'll have the pleasure of learning how it is in the real world and seeing how important it is to advance from your current state and seek better jobs out there with this experience. It is essential you know how to do the basics and is is a semi-good way to start. OR get you angry.

ConsThey dont work with you on hours, they dont monitor the conduct of the employees, they dont require english to be a necessary language even at the register. They don't teach you very well other than show you right on the spot without any regard to the customer whatsoever. If they were to take the time to make sure their employees werent monolingual and helped their new associates to adjust to the new enviroment this would be a different post.

Advice to Senior ManagementFix up the store at Laredo.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Unrelentantly Demanding Low Pay Subpar Management Unrealistic Expectations

Key Carrier/Merchandise Coordinator (Current Employee) Lithonia, GA

I have been working at Marshalls full-time for more than 5 years

Pros: Name brands for less. Good prices Cons: Low wages, full-time hours are considered 30-35hrs per week to include nights and weekends. Minimal training, yet high expectations. Managers have very little or no… Advice to Senior Management: Better communication and feedback with your employees. Reward hardwork and show appreciation… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
