Pros

Marshall's is all about promoting the people who want to go places with the company.

I worked at Marshalls part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great co-workers. Roles are easy to learn. Managers are always willing to help. Break times are 15 mins long and lunches are 45 mins long compared to 30 mins at most other retail stores.

    Cons

Communication between managers were often lost. Time flexibility is often questioned. Difficult to request important days off. Highly expected to be expendable. Hard to go to school and work at the same time here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with more via notes, phone calls, some kind of message among other managers. Don't take out frustration on employees. Be more lenient to employees who are students as well (Marshalls is not a career path for most students).
