High expectations lead to a feeling of disappointment

ProsIf you're into comic books, it can be really fun to have a hand in bringing characters like Spider-Man and the X-Men to "life". Working directly in the publishing group can be fast-paced and exciting, and everyone you meet will think it's awesome you work at Marvel.

ConsManagement tends to treat employees dismissively, a culture of fear and surveillance is cultivated as a motivational tool. Favoritism and politics play a large part in promotion opportunities, it seems like everyone is a vice-president of something.

Advice to Senior ManagementMarvel will never hang our on to their best and brightest employees without treating them a bit better, but as long as they're making bags of money, they don't really have any incentive to change.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
