I have been working at Mary Kay part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, you are your own boss, the products are good, the girl time, making extra cash, recognition, lots of motivation.

    Cons

The pressure to team build, feels like an MLM, can't move up until you team build, you try so hard sometimes and your results are unstable. If things seem aren't being done exactly told, they automatically think you're "reinventing the wheel". Takes up SO much time. You have to pay for everything (meetings, food, conventions, supplies) . Very difficult to handle if you already have a lot on your plate.

I have been working at Mary Kay

    Pros

    Because the opportunities are endless!

    Cons

For me there just wasn't much support and I didn't have a real director in my area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Teach the sale directors to speak in a more professionally to those just entering.
