I have been working at Marymount University

    Pros

Good location and some good colleagues
    Opportunity to teach
Essentially a 9 month job if you work hard during those months

    Cons

Lots of students show little interest in learning and are poorly prepared
Very, very low admission standards so there's a huge range of abilities, experience and knowledge even on the graduate level; difficult to accommodate such a broad range in a single classroom
Very poor upper management; promotion to many positions seems based on appearance, smoozing and perhaps Catholic religion

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put more emphasis on fairness in promotions; remove the arbitrariness of evaluations; evaluate teachers by more than student ratings; bring in some new people
