Pros – Being a collaborative part of cutting edge medicing
True teamwork between nursing and medicine
Management support of continuing education
Very good retirement package

Cons – MGH has a moderate salary compared to other surrounding hospitals
At times the medical environment can suggest innovative medicine with little chance of patient improvement

Advice to Senior Management – One thing I've always wished was a better way of evaluating my nursing practice. Annual reviews aren't used as true opportunities to teach nurses what they need to do better
