I worked at Massage Envy full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Tips are not taxed, and most of the clients are awesome!

    Cons

The owners are selfish and greedy. They made it very obvious that their money is all that really mattered. They hire kids straight out of high school and give them way too many responsibilities so they don't need to physically be there to run the clinic. Zero leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire an actual HR rep to handle employee complaints, execute proper investigations regarding the complaints and stop assuming that your favorite employees are always telling the truth!!

I have been working at Massage Envy full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The schedules are flexible. Clients that come to the clinic are pleasant. Supplies are provided and it is a friendly work environment.

    Cons

The pay is not great and they don't give raises. At my clinic, the front desk staff is also underpaid so we have a lot of young, immature staff and there is high turnover in the front desk position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

pay therapists and front desk more to ensure better quality service
