I have been working at MasterCard full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

innovation creates an environment of continuous learning

    Cons

it's time for a changing of the guard - too many SBLs and Group Heads have been around for way too long.
The Stl office is in need of a fresh, new, faster, less bureaucratic approach to innovation.
On board super sharp contractors, and then allow them to leave after imparting valuable knowledge and experience after 3yrs, instead of converting to an employee.
Promotion process is not transparent. Promotions seem to depend on who you know, and who they know, instead of quality of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If aspire to cultivate an innovative culture the dinosaurs in management need to step aside.
