Cons

The MathWorks is a very quirky environment. Certainly not a place to be a visionary and think you can change the world. The need for buy-in from all stakeholders and the need to over-analyze processes creates hurdles. Did I mention quirky?

Advice to Senior Management

Get a better understanding of the real nuts and bolts of what really goes on each day. Get more in touch with real daily hurdles, tasks and mostly the lack of ample resources.
