I worked at Mayo Clinic full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great Benefits, great atmosphere, pay raise after a year. Loved working here!

    Cons

There are strict clock-in policies and infraction policies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sometimes upper management doesn't have a clue as to what the employees on the floor are doing and how hard they have to work because the company is understaffed because the company doesn't want to pay more employees but would gather give the nurses more work. Its safer for everyone if the loads are lessened, not increased!

I have been working at Mayo Clinic full-time

    Pros

The needs of the patient come first. Staff members are well respected. Strong sense of culture. Amazing things happen here every day.

    Cons

Historical manner of handling employee issues is the go-to solution. Employee policies do not always seem to fit all employee types yet they are written to group everyone together.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Research the market on compensation packages that motivate people.
