Pros

Its a growing company in a great place right now. We're in a market that's expanding, and our leadership has the vision to see us capitalise on this opportunity.

Cons

Its very US centric. There's a sizeable chunk of their business in the UK, but sometimes you'd be forgiven for thinking we're just a californian suburb. There's also some transitional worries as McAfee grows into a larger company. Unless you're at VP level, even now, you'll be lucky to be allocated any discretionary budget - Every time you need to buy something you have to go through a difficult approval cycle.

Advice to Senior Management

Focus more on the guys at the bottom. Your strategy is great, we've made great aquisitions, our products are good. But, we're working some of the guys at the bottom too hard. The headcount freeze has made things very difficult, and these guys need some recognition for maintaining their output in the face of a hugely increased workload.
