I worked at McCann Erickson full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Truly world-class talent. This is a place where you can really be challenged and grow. Also the location is close to many fun after-work spots.. And there will be much meeting after work - !

Cons

Sometimes great work can be lost in the layers of bureaucracy involved in getting any individual piece of work out the door.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think management always was most respected when time was taken to invite ideas from anyone in the company.

For an ad agency, there is a very corporate vibe to the place

I have been working at McCann Erickson full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

lots of days off, PTO's, summer days, 1/2 days before holiday's and Xmas week off....

    Cons

raises have been frozen since 2008 with the exception of SVP's & EVP's..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

instead of arranging these mandatory silly forgettable workshops that are overseen by these corporate SVP and EVP's who end up abandoing ship after a year or two --and all becomes irrelevant..start giving your employees a raise and stop losing good talent and keep your promises.
(raises are still FROZEN for the under dogs)

    Disapproves of CEO
