“It's a starting job that makes you thankful for when you get a real one.”
I worked at McDonald's part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Your time there depends on the people you work with. I've had really good days and really long days. It's a good way to get a lot of basic skills that translate reasonably especially for other hourly wage jobs.
Cons – The hours are weird some days. My store had me working 40 hours over four days due to under staffing while a friend of mine only got 20 over a week just the month prior.
