    I worked at McDonald's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good people to work with (most of the time). Sometimes slackers would come in and make the work twice as hard though. Generally pretty good with working the schedule around extra curriculars and classes, etc.

    Cons

Corporate store started forcing overnight shifts. As a University student, it was hard to lose the entire weekend to working overnight shifts and then getting back into the grove of things for classes on Monday. Even after expressing this to management, they still forced us to work overnight shifts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't force overnight shifts.
