I worked at McDonald's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The lower paid employees (such as Crew Members) are lovely people to work with.
You get free food (which can get tiresome after a while).
Great sense of team work between your fellow colleagues (not from the management however).

    Cons

    Management are too profit orientated.
You are treated like a profit making asset rather than a human being.
The pay is generally terrilble for the amount of work you're expected to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the emloyees lower down the career ladder feel vauled. Also, please be polite - we are adults not students in a school! We don't like to be ordered around like slaves.

I have been working at McDonald's part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Good, flexible hours for students
Opportunities to advance in the company
Crew is generally friendly, you can make a lot of close friends here
When management is good, everything runs smooth during shifts
Excellent on resumes because of the training program

    Cons

Can be stressful in rush periods, especially if not enough crew is on
Some managers are not well trained
A lot of staff feels under appreciated because managers have favourites
