I worked at McDonald's full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

The best part of working for McDonalds is the people, internal and external customers. Fast paced and never dull.

Cons

No recognition. No benefits. The franchisee tends to have a lack of confidence in his people which leads to unmotivated staff.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay consistent.

I have been working at McDonald's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good with hours. If you show you are a good worker and develop speed in what you do, you shall be fine

    Cons

Poor management. Crew trainers have become a little lazy. You are taught the ropes of everything but not all the proper way

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The night shift is a little underpaid. The requirements to clean behind and wipe down Equipment, make food and deal with Rude customers is a challenge because keeping professional is the key.

    Pros

McDonald's is very flexible and willing to meet your scheduling needs. A plus is friendly coworkers!

    Cons

It is not a job where you will move up to the career you want. It's a wonderful starter job to get you used to working with people but not a career goal.
