Pros

It's been interesting, a lot of help from my boss and co-workers. Hopefully I can continue to learn and find out more about this subject.

Cons

Not an established internship program to get integrated into but pretty good nonetheless. Am looking for ways to establish myself on the team.

Advice to Management

Continue to develop the internship program and make sure that it is a project oriented program with good leadership available.

    Pros

high turnover rate means it's easy to grab a job.
    discounts on food and drinks.
locations everywhere to make commute short.

    Cons

discounts on food. (already gained 10 lbs.)
little inclination to stick with the company or try to advance, more inclination to keep job searching.

    Advice to Management

keep on doing what you're doing, you'll likely be there for the rest of your life. Understand when employee's need time off, we may be going to interviews but there'll be someone waiting to take our place.

    Pros

For a summer job, it was ok. At times it was fast paced, and you learn to think really fast on your feet. There were opportunities to work more than 20 hours a week as a part timer since other employees either call in sick or don't show up. Overall, McDonalds was a good example of restaurant retail.

    Cons

The store gets quite busy, and customers are quick to lose patience. When the store is busy, it can be difficult to deal with the fast pace. Overall there is not much more to expect from this position.

    Advice to Management

When the store gets busy, a little more direction and quick handling of disgruntled customers would be helpful. Overall there is not much more to expect from entry level restaurant crew.
