    I worked at McGraw-Hill Education

    Pros

The salary, benefits and workflow was well planned. The people you worked with were extremely competent and helpful in training.

    Cons

Because the job had a lot of employees, some were very protective of sharing their work in fear and distrust of colleagues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees' talents a bit more and give us much more responsibility, and we will be more loyal to you.

I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education

    Pros

Great colleagues, average compensation, good opportunity for young (but not 40+) people to move up; it's a business and that's all about the bottom line

    Cons

My experience was poor leadership and management; constant pressure to do more in less time; leadership used intimidation rather than motivation

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire leaders who know how to inspire employees to do their best, rather than demoralize and frighten people into compliance. Fear is not a good motivator for top performance.
