I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

There is a sense of fulfillment from creating products that help our kids learn. Plenty of smart people (well, I've been lucky; it's not the same in all departments). New management understands that the old world full of print books is quickly shrinking.

    Cons

Compensation is below average for the same region/skills. Management hierarchy runs really deep. Many, many people occupying middle management positions still think in terms of print world realities, not digital.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think you're on the right track. This massive ship has tremendous inertia though, hopefully you'll be able to steer it in time to avoid a disaster...
