I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Competitive compensation and big cubes

Cons

No training available and the systems are terrible to use since they are not made for both the print and digital worlds. Also upper mgmt will do anything and I mean ANYTHING to hit their numbers since their AIP payout is tied to this.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper mgmt needs to invest in training and the systems but I know they won't since all they do is lookout for themselves.

    I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits are average but getting worse and aims to have everyone on Flexible Spending Account style plan by 2015; 401K plan; No overtime pay or compensation;

    Cons

    Lack of employee appreciation with promotion; Attitude is "your lucky to have a job"; Has a "Let's go digital" attitude but lack the equipment and sources presently (see scrambling) ; Minimal time off: only major holidays; no time off between Christmas and New Years yet nothing happens then. Favoritism to Ohio office where people are paid less; Loads of Hippocracy; Upper management is self-congratulatory.
