    Pros

The compensation and the work life balance is good for most employees. From a business perspective, the business has continued to grow regardless of the dismal economic outlook for most businesses.

    Cons

Most things flow from/through San Francisco and therefore almost all potential career advancement opportunities are in San Francisco. Lots of things are being outsourced, in particular in the IT space.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of protecting your in-house expertise. Reward subtance and merit over polished presentation.

For the amount of money the company makes they are extremely tight with salaries, bonuses, and promotions.
