Great people who really want to make a difference, but very old school and political

    Pros

Some of the best people you'll ever meet. Most people are friendly and willing to help you out
A feeling that you are making a difference
Benefits are good (including matching 401K, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement and FSA's)
I always felt supported by my manager and team and was never micromanaged.
Good PTO once you get past the first year or two

    Cons

Extremely extremely political, not much diversity at the top
Face Time is very important, therefore WFH is discouraged in most areas. That is starting to change, but it's been slow. (I am only speaking about the SF office)
    Compensation isn't competitive
If you got results, no matter how you got them, you were praised. The higher up you go, the less the ICARE Shared Values seem to apply.

    Advice to Management

The constant cost cutting is really hurting morale.

  2. Good place to work if you enjoy working for managers who make poor decisions

    Pros

The office parties were enjoyable and most of the employees were enjoyable to work with.

    Cons

The pay is poor. There wasn't enough acknowledgement from management on accomplishments from those who worked hard. Poor management led to blame being put on employees. There's a constant influx of employees leaving (on the spot) which as well as new hires which should indicate something.

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your employees like people. I would highly recommend Dave Ramsey's book "Entreleadership". Management needs to improve so people don't end up being treated as subjects.
