Great people who really want to make a difference, but very old school and political

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
San Francisco, CA

ProsSome of the best people you'll ever meet. Most people are friendly and willing to help you out
A feeling that you are making a difference
Benefits are good (including matching 401K, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement and FSA's)
I always felt supported by my manager and team and was never micromanaged.
Good PTO once you get past the first year or two

ConsExtremely extremely political, not much diversity at the top
Face Time is very important, therefore WFH is discouraged in most areas. That is starting to change, but it's been slow. (I am only speaking about the SF office)
Compensation isn't competitive
If you got results, no matter how you got them, you were praised. The higher up you go, the less the ICARE Shared Values seem to apply.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe constant cost cutting is really hurting morale.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
