I worked at McKesson full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, great benefits, strong stock.

    Cons

Management is out of touch with which employees are true contributors and which are just good at talking up their mediocre work. HR sides with management in labor issues, without even hearing the employee's side. Constant squeeze to increase the bottom line at employee expense. Literally will let you work yourself to death in fear of loosing your position.

    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO

I worked at McKesson full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Location
    Gym stipend
    numerous happy hours
1 week off during Christmas Holidays (must use PTO or go unpaid)

    Cons

Pay is below average to average relative to the market
    Benefits are poor
Extremely political (promotions only come if you shmooze with the right people)
IT structure is unbelievably poor for a company this size

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring the SAP team in house
Work on the environment of the company, updating the cubes and decor might make it feel less sterile
Reward your employees for dedication and hard work that produces results not simply because they have worked a certain amount of years

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
