I worked at McKesson full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great company, good benefits, a lot of personal training opportunites. Great work hours and good balance of work versus family time. Company is also a Fortune 15 company.

Cons

Company has a high turnover rate for front line supervisors especially ones that are hired as external candidates. Company needs to work on its diversity demographics.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Diversity in its workforce and more diversity education/training.

    Pros

Steady work. In this economy.. lets just say.. its a job

    Cons

McKesson used to be a good company to work for, but over the last 5 years or so, they've taken away bonuses, pay increases are horrible and do not cover the increases in the rise of health insurance premiums.

If you're a lazy employee you have it made because management will do nothing to correct it. If you're a good employee expect to have to work twice as hard to make up for the lack of work by the lazy employee that management does nothing about.

No recognition, lack of decent salary increases, shedding of bonuses have lead to lack of incentive of many employees to "go that extra mile".. It just doesn't matter.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start showing appreciation to those employees that are doing the job. Stop ignoring those employees that don't do their job.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
