Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Pittsburgh, PA

    Pros

Benefits, amount of paid time off is great. Schedule is flexible. Most employees get along pretty well with each other which helps. People are willing to help others.

    Cons

Upper management wants everything focused on padding statistics and not always fixing issues. Pay could be a little better. Also, training and knowledge on new products being sold to customers is almost non existent. Customers know more than most of the people who are supposed to support brand new products. Also, staffing needs increased. There is hardly enough staff in certain departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Restructure how certain departments run. A help desk should be about fixing issues, not worrying about answering the phone as quick as possible.

Former Employee - Data Analyst in Broomfield, CO

    Pros

Decent pay, health care industry, should have been a much better place to work.

    Cons

Constant re-orgs and layoffs. Incompetent folks placed in middle management. No innovation, very reactive. Poorly designed systems.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put MHS out of it's misery and focus on the other areas of the business that are profitable. Allow staff members to do reviews on their managers. Maybe the CEO could take a pay cut (since he's the 10th highest paid CEO in the USA) so that layoffs wouldn't be necessary at the end of every fiscal year.
