Pros

You will never be bored, the projects vary across a number of industries, and the people you will be able to work with are always top in their field

Cons

extremely competitive, these are some of the most driven people in the world, they are not used to being told that something can't be done or can't happen.

I worked at McKinsey & Company for more than 10 years

    Pros

+ Everyone you speak to is brilliant
+ You gain access to one of the best networks in the world
+ Lots of opportunity for growth, both personally and professionally
    + Benefits are amazing

    Cons

    - Work/life balance is horrible, this place is all about working not sleeping
    - People are so busy that they don't always have time for basic niceties with team mates
    - If you are not a partner-track consultant, you are not as valued and invisible to some
    - People only socialize with their client engagement team, no time to see anyone else

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize that your support staff is just as impressive as the consultants. Sometimes, more so!
