Pros

Put simply, the smartest people in the world. As they call themselves, "the leadership factory". Working for the Firm is demanding, but the rewards are there (and not just monetary).

Cons

Many partners have families, so there must be a way to balance McKinsey work with life outside the office. But it's difficult.

Advice to Senior Management

Increase internal communication a little bit, and don't try and save costs by reducing perks such as health insurance. If a consultant is sick, it is probably more valuable to the Firm that he gets well ASAP and returns to work.
