Pros – Colleagues were great to work with and always willing to help.
Great client groups to support.
Fast paced, but fun environment.

Cons – Manager was more focused on her career than developing her team’s capabilities.
Salary freezes did not help employee morale and loyalty.
Compensation was not in-line with role responsibilities.

Advice to Senior Management – Don't lose sight of what made MeadWestvaco, MeadWestvaco. Profit, ROI and strong liquid cash will only get you so far. The care of your employees should always be first priority.
