Loved it when it was Broadlane, having a hard time adjusting now that it's MedAssets

Pros

Compensation is good IF YOU NEGOTIATE IT WELL WHEN YOU ARE HIRED! If you don't negotiate a great salary up front you will always be behind the pack no matter how many times you're promoted.

Cons

Since Broadlane was aquired by MedAssets there is triple the work and half the people. As a company they need to figure out where they're headed. It's like a free for all right now with the right hand not knowing what the left is doing.

    Pros

Benefits and incentives are great. Fun atmosphere. Bonuses given are great.

    Cons

Cliques. You have cliques that get by with everything. We have a business dress code and one member of one of the cliques gets by daily dressing trashy in jeans. Also only friends of managers are promoted. The raises are pitiful the pros listed is the only thing keeping about 8 of us here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be fair to everyone.

    Pros

Dress code is relaxed. You are treated as a adult who is responsible for your own success. Salaries are comfortable.

    Cons

When promoting from department to department there is alot of problems some employees can encounter. It makes the employee feel that the company is only for your growth when its feasible for the company not what is best for the employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employees moral needs to be boosted. Stop treating your employees as a number in a status report and look at them as a person who has abilities.
