Medcath: Growing Pains

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at MedCath

ProsMedcath is a relatively young hospital operator, and there are pluses and minuses to this fact. Pluses would include opportunities for exposure, learning and developing programs from the ground up.

ConsSome minuses would be that the company continues to undergo some "growing pains" and has an ongoing issue with leadership instability (turnover rates are relatively higher than those of comparable companies).

Advice to Senior ManagementEnough can't be said about open, honest communication from leadership....this often doesn't happen and major decisions are announced rather than asking for input/feedback prior to implementation.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn about and become more knowledgeable on… Cons: Ineffective and unprofessional middle management. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
