Pros

Free health care, which they are doing away with so really no pros.

Cons

Pay, long hours, expensive insurance that has a $6000 deductible. They used to offer free health care but no longer do. You only get 36 hours a week, not allowed to get 40.

Advice to Management

Find better not so expensive insurance and pay your FOAs a little more. You will keep more of them if you would pay so little.

    Pros

3 - 12 hr days. Flexibility. Able to switch days with your coworkers. Got 4 days off per week

    Cons

Manager played favorites. Changed rules constantly. Somedays we were so busy, we didn't get a whole lunch break which is only 30 mins, not much for a 12 hr day. If patients came in at closing we had to still take them which meant 12 hr days ended up being over 13 hr days. Workweek was 36 hrs so it was hard to make OT if it was available.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so greedy!

    Pros

-Great people with good hearts work at MedExpress
-Opportunity for growth in career with interesting/unique experiences

    Cons

-The company doesn't staff appropriately, therefore most employees feel stretched thin and unable to perform well within their tasks.
    -Lack of leadership and direction
-Some people are resistant to change and "keeping up with the times"
-Severe lack of appropriate compensation (most people are significantly underpaid)

    Advice to Management

If you don't start valuing the employees that you have by compensating them appropriately, you will lose the good talent that you do have. You can only pull the whole "but you're getting great experience" and "this is a lateral move" (even though you're given a ton more responsibility) for so long until people feel taken advantage of and become bitter. Additionally, if you don't put in place good leadership soon, a few departments will continue to crumble and people will leave.
